Must have/meet:
- Boyd County residents
- Families with children who are 16 years of age or younger
Required documents
Please bring with you or include in application:
- Photo ID of custodial parent/guardian
- Social Security cards for all household members
- SNAP award letter for those receiving SNAP benefits
- Proof of residency (other than ID)
- Updated Neighborhood Cards for the household

Provides housing referrals, utility assistance for electricity, gas or water; rent assistance, emergency food, prescription assistance, birth certificate application/fee payment assistance, referrals for ID cards, baby care items and referrals to other social services as needed for individuals and families in emergency/crisis situations. Also provides holiday assistance for the Christmas season through the CAReS Giving Tree Program.
